Setting up Teamspeak. Step by step.

For everyone who has become a registered TS user and is having issues getting the connection set up. This is a step by step guide.

Start TS.

Click on Connection, Connect.

Right Click on Servers to add a server.

Give the connection a name.

Fill in all the information below using you information.
New users have to select Anonymous until they can get registered. Once Registered this will change.
Anyone with SA after their name can help you with Registration.

You can even specify the channel you want to join and set your connection to Auto_Reconnect in case it goes out while in game.

Once setup and connecting you need to set your Sound Input/Output Settings under Settings on the menu.

Press to Talk is far preferable than voice activation. Voice activation in many cases causes feedback through your mic and makes it very hard to hear.
Click the Press to Talk button.

Next click on the Set button and press the key you want to use for Voice activation.
Many people use the Mouse scroll wheel.

You are now ready to use Teamspeak with Press to Talk.

If you do use Voice Activation and feedback occurs you will be asked to change it. If you do not you will be moved from the channel.

Following that without change will get you either kicked and/or banned from the TS server.

Thanks.

If a man, standing in the forest says something, and his wife isn't there to correct him, is he still wrong??
