New Map - Badass

remake of Minutemen terrain, differnet routes, different in most respects. Can be easy, can be tough - I recommend not to move too fast, even if it looks clear at first. Spawns are close together at the start, so don't get hammered by double triggering stuff right away

badass 04-09-2017

New version April 9 2017 - redid even more stuff this time - half the terrain changed, new light, etc. No crash in local tests means nothing.

new version again - testing tonight, probably going to crash again. I changed half the map, but only proper server test will tell

would it be possible for you to do a script for me that has all you regular randomization and regular naming but for maybe twenty spawn zones for ai no vehicle or mgs or smackdowns that i could keep recycling for small maps . i currently have three maps ready for scripting and working on another fun little map .

Play the map Badass,small but nice played without problems and no crash.
map version 04-09-2017.Played the map in GameRanger,as the host and play allone.
For me looks the map oke...:)

I have some of that sitting around, always with some variations. I just grab the stuff from existing maps.

Unbundle kridlocker and you will have 20 or more spawns, panhards galore. Not much stuff in that one that would be unique. I can also clean it up for you this weekend to make it more generic with more comments as to what is what

the maps i have created would only use soldiers no areas for panhard spawns . i would try to change around an existing script i just know with no uncertainty i would fail .

Raz,

attached a 20 spawn 4-way (alpha,beta,charlie,delta) random script, all chances are equal 20/40/60/80 percent, so each outcome goes equally in 5 ways (one being no spawn). Edit as needed.

Also adaptive - 3 triggers for player count needed, currently set to

condition="1"/>

for all levels, so everything spawns on just one player. Change to 1/5/8 or whatever works for the three triggers. They are named 1/7/11 based on old maps and how the scripts used to work, but the condition number is what really decides how many players it takes.

The groups you need are 12 per spawn level, e.g.

area010alpha
area010beta
area010charlie
area010delta
area011alpha
area011beta
area011charlie
area011delta
area012alpha
area012beta
area012charlie
area012delta

for the first set of triggers, repeat 19 more times.

There is also a group "carlos" in the last spawn - that's our friend Cornholio, or "mex_carlos" in the soldier type list. Move that guy to wherever it is safe to add him as the spawn is 100% guaranteed to happen.

edit "map_name_here" to match your map name. Kill count is at the bottom set to 125 in this template

No panhards, nothing else.

You must have all the areas in the world file, or the game will crash on script load. you do not need all the AI, though. If you want to remove spawns, you take out the top area definition at the top, the trigger for the areas, the activation at game start, and then the events these triggers call. But, you can just leave that stuff in the script. Just make sure the areas exist somewhere in the map and nothing will crash, even if you never create a single soldier for the areas you are not using.

All right thanx a bunch will start putting spawns in tonight and see it works , have dropbox set up so if i get something to work will post in a thread for you to look at.
